With this Unit the first thing you will have done as per usual, is the Diagnostic Test. This test, as you know, simply provides information about what you can and can't do at this point in time. With this information, you as the learner will be required to take more ownership of your learning. That is, once your Pre-Test has been marked, the Pre-Test itself will act as a map or checklist that will indicate what to do next. Each sub-section of the test will need to be mastered before addressing the next area of concern until you become fully familiar with every section of the Test and are therefore ready for the big Unit Test.
Each subsection requires instructional teaching, or re-teaching which will come from either the teacher or an assigned peer. Once you feel you have attained mastery in each subsection, you will then be required to complete an Exit Card, as provided by the teacher. If over 90% is achieved, then the final step will be to make a digital video entry onto your wiki space, demonstrating evidence of mastery. I will ensure that each sub section, will then have a list of recommended practice exercises, and that answers for each will be provided.
